Our Mission
The Selective High School Community Transport Association is a parent-led, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing safe, efficient, and direct bus transportation for students attending Penrith Selective High School. Established to alleviate the challenges associated with multiple public transport transfers, our service ensures a more convenient and reliable commute for students from various suburbs in Western Sydney.
Our History
In 2020, a collective of proactive parents recognized the need for a streamlined transportation solution to Penrith Selective High School. This initiative led to the launch of our first bus service in Term 1, 2021. Since then, the service has garnered positive feedback from both parents and students, reflecting its success and reliability. By Term 1, 2025, we expanded our operations to four fully subscribed routes, demonstrating our commitment to meeting the growing demand.
Our Operations
Operating under an Association structure to comply with legal and statutory requirements, our core remains a community-driven effort. All funds collected are reinvested into the service, ensuring its sustainability and continuous improvement. We collaborate with dedicated partners who share our vision, and our team comprises volunteers and parents committed to the well-being of our students. It is the community's appreciation and support that fuels our ongoing efforts.
